What’s the story?

MetaMartini was approached by Valvetronic Designs to assist in developing a structured marketing strategy as it pertained to the brand development of their Universal Valved Muffler Program. More specifically, the Universal Valved Muffler Program for Trucks/SUVs.

Over the course of three months MetaMartini worked with Valvetronic Designs which resulted in a 83% growth in the Universal Valved Muffler Program and 56% growth in website traffic.

Who is Valvetronic Designs?

Valvetronic Designs is an aftermarket exhaust company that specializes in making high quality performance exhaust systems for a wide variety of vehicles. The unique value proposition of Valvetronic Designs is their proprietary valving system that allows consumers to control the volume of their vehicle at the press of a button. Their success has led to the development of countless exhaust systems for McLaren, Ferrari, BMW, Porsche, and Lamborghini.

Their visual presence, paired with the unique technology present in their systems ultimately led to rapid success. In 2022, Valvetronic Designs would go on to launch a Universal Valved Muffler product which allowed anyone the same experience as a full exhaust replacement, a product that was highly requested in the passenger car market. However, as Valvetronic aimed a similar product to the sport truck and SUV market, product adoption metrics plateaued.

MetaMartini joined the Valvetronic team in February of 2023 to support the relaunch of the truck/suv universal valved muffler. Our case study metrics can be found below.

How It Started.

We began the partnership by drafting a positioning statement, marketing roadmap, and key performance indicators to define the success of the product relaunch. After achieving approval from Valvetronic’s leadership team, our team then conducted an audit on Valvetronic’s marketing strategy utilizing an internal toolkit we call “Omnichannel Audit;” a 30-topic audit of all existing strategies from top of funnel to loyalty and retention initiatives. This audit allows us to review where the work is and understand potential blockers and review workload capacity.

Following the tactics derived from an omnichannel marketing review, our teams worked together to create monthly marketing campaign that optimized or created initiatives based on the findings. Out of the 30 point marketing review of the current state initiatives, we found 18 tactics to optimize flow-through rate using no additional spend. 

Example of opportunities include:

  • Defining the need for content that revolved around trucks and SUVs.

  • Problem statement refinement.

  • Paid ads audience segmentation specific to product.

  • Flow-through rate of Facebook audience awareness to conversion.

Scaling & Informing

MetaMartini has identified key areas of improvement for the Valvetronic website as well as marketing strategies to set Valvetronic up for future growth and success. 

  • The Valvetronic website now has a clear separation of the UVM program for cars from the UVM for Trucks/SUVs. This will help clear any confusion as to whether or not this system will work for a customers vehicle.

  • The introduction of new articles, guides, and blogs focused around the Universal Valved Muffler System will help with a potential customers journey surrounding this product. Adjacent growth occurred to Valvetronic’s organic web presence through specific keyword placement throughout the educational content.

  • Valvetronic will continue to promote the value propositions of the Universal Valved Muffler system for trucks and SUVs as well as the problem that it is solving.
